Lambfest2010

THIS EVENT IS NOW CLOSED

A 7 course degustation menu held at Coast Restaurant, Tuesday 25th  May 2010

We are back with another installment of Urban Food Market dinners which showcase the wonderful produce we source. This time round, lambfest2010 with the one and only Bultarra Saltbush Lamb!

Cost: $59 per head ($95 with matching wines)

Tuesday 25th May 2010
Coast Restaurant - Darling Harbour
7pm – late

If you’ve been lucky enough to try Bultarra Saltbush Lamb you will be itching to reserve your seats! For those unlucky ones, here a few reasons as to why this product is so fine…

  - 100% natural product

  - No Chemicals

  - No hormones

  - No growth promotants

  - No mulesing

  - Free Range on Organic Land- naturally grazed (not lot fed)

  - The only MSA accredited saltbush lamb producer in Australia

The ‘Old man Saltbush’ plant that the sheep graze on (why it is called ‘Saltbush Lamb’) has an abundance of Vitamin E which naturally tenderizes the meat and a salt level which naturally flavours the meat. All this combined with the highest of breed of sheep (a Dorset/Suffolk second cross) delivers an exquisite eating experience.

Adam Lord, Head Chef at Coast Restaurant has been a lover of the Bultarra Saltbush Lamb since first trying it 6 months ago, so was extremely excited when we approached him with wanting Lambfest2010 to be held at the beautiful Coast Restaurant.

You will also get to meet and hear from Rob Meares, the 3rd farmer of this stunning sustainable product. Rob is making the trip up from the pristine Riverina District of NSW especially for this event!
